This Gatlinburg-based theme park is a great family value! Admission to Anakeesta includes a scenic ride via the Chondola ride or choose to experience our Ridge Rambler adventure trucks to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain where you enter our magical Firefly Village. Enjoy spectacular views of downtown Gatlinburg along the way. At the top, you’ll experience majestic scenic views of Mt. LeConte, quaint gift shops and casual dining at our Smokehouse BBQ food truck or savory pastries, hot drinks, and of course ice cream at Pearl’s Pie in the Sky. Look for our new mountaintop restaurant, which features a delicious menu, full-service bar, and outdoor seating. Stroll along the Treetop Skywalk 40’–60’ feet above the forest floor and discover over 800′ of connected skybridges, then explore our whimsical Treehouse Village Adventure with the kids. Follow the Memorial Forest Walk to learn about the November 2016 fire and how it impacted our ‘mountain strong’ community, and discover our new and interactive Vista Gardens botanical walk that features 1,700′ of walking trails that meander through lush gardens filled with a variety of flowers, plants, and sculptures like our 20′ Willow Man.

MOUNTAIN HERITAGE TOUR -
Travel through the valley in our Executive Luxury Shuttle Bus to see some of the most beautiful scenes in the Smokies. First settled in 1792, Wears Valley is steeped in history. The Townsend and Wears Valley area is a place rich in culture with historical churches and schools that recall what life was like in the mountains. Local wines, moonshine, crafts and stories are all a part of this mountain heritage tour.

The first settlers to Wears Valley discovered a valley rich with fertile soil which lead to great harvests. First known as Crowson Cove, then Wears Cove and now Wears Valley, it is named after the Revolutionary War hero Samuel Wear. This area is filled with local merchants and master crafters. We’ll travel on to Townsend, Tennessee where we find a peaceful mountain community filled with lore and heritage. Visit the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Museum for unparalleled experiences with Appalachian culture.

Taste the local flavors at the Cades Cove Cellars and Tennessee Legend’s Distillery. Heirloom recipes and master craftsmanship combine for a wonderful tasting experience. We’ll stop to see local merchants where home made crafts and wares are available along with local sweets, treats.

The Wears Valley and Townsend areas of the Smokies are known for their spectacular scenery and peaceful environment. Appalachian culture is weaved in to these
communities, come and discover it’s rich footprint on American life. This tour is excellent for all ages. 21 and up for tastings.
